I love their lunch buffet. they have a soup a couple of appetizers a rice and a pad thai (the types vary) frequently a curry dish and a chicken dish and a beef dish. The types of chicken and beef dishes vary.
I love the Thai rolls the chicken tempura has a lovely light batter as does the vegetable tempura. There are different types of chicken on different days, I am not good with names and do not guarantee the spelling is correct. Chicken tamarind, orange chicken, sesame chicken, Easton chicken, chicken satay. Everything I have had there has been delicious I can honestly say I have never had anything there that I would call bad or even mediocre.
If nothing on the buffet appeals there is also a full menu that can be ordered from.
The buffet is weekdays only from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm and it is very reasonable at $7.50.
When we went (and yes, I enjoyed it!) they had a cucumber pickle on the buffet that was crisp and mouth puckering wonderful that we managed to finish up. Since we had come at the end of the meal time, they didn’t have any more to put on the line, but before we left our server brought us a plastic container of the curing liquid and sliced cucumbers and told not to eat it for at least 6 hours. Not only did we eat the pickles that had been in the container, but we refilled it several times with the same great result!
Just tried some of the new spring menu at Bertucci’s – Canton’s Five Corners branch, and I’ll be going back! The white sangria has lots of peach flavor and it’s quite refreshing. We also tried the new Whole Wheat Pizza Giardino (whole wheat dough topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, roasted red and yellow peppers, grape tomatoes with shredded basil), and the Pasta Verde (Rigatoni with spinach, asparagus and peas tossed in a savory wine sauce sautéed with fresh herbs and chick pea purée and pesto)
When I’m feeling that I need to be eating really healthy food, and I don’t want to make it, my first thought is Spruce Pond Creamery in Franklin just off 495 exit 16. They have organic flatbreads and calzones made in a wood fired oven and yummy homemade ice cream, as well as tasty fresh salads, house made soups, crunchy paninis and other delicious natural food creations. Not only is the food wonderful, and locally sourced, but the outside patio overlooking Spruce Pond is dining al fresco at it’s finest. check them out at http://www.franklinpizza.com/
